Our Purpose & Goals

Harbour House is a comfortable alternative to hospitalization for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. We work collaboratively with Hospitals, Crisis Response Systems and Assertive Community Treatment Teams across the state of Maryland to ensure that all our residents get the best care possible. Our homes are carefully designed to provide a safe sanctuary for our residents and enhance their emotional strength so that they can make a smooth transition back to their community.

We provide voluntary services for any adult individual experiencing a mental health crisis, and we may assist to shorten the length of inpatient stays when appropriate, without prejudice to race, income, social background, religion, sex, age, or sexual orientation.

Serving our communities most vulnerable citizens.
